Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez are officially engaged, with wedding plans now on the horizon after nearly a decade together.
The Argentine model confirmed the news on Instagram, sharing a photo of their hands with a sparkling diamond ring and the caption: “Yes, I do. In this life and in all my lives.”
Ronaldo first met Georgina in 2016 at a Gucci store in Madrid while playing for Real Madrid and has been dating her since 2017.
She later described their first meeting as “love at first sight,” recalling how they reconnected days later at another event, leading to the start of their relationship.

Their romance has endured through Ronaldo’s moves from Real Madrid to Juventus, back to Manchester United, and now to Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr.
Notably, Saudi Arabia’s strict laws prohibit unmarried couples from living together, but exceptions were made for the Portuguese superstar after his record-breaking move in December 2022.
Over the years, Ronaldo has hinted at marriage, telling Piers Morgan in 2022 that he and Georgina both “deserve” it, but that the timing had to be right. The couple share two daughters, Bella and Alana, and are raising Ronaldo’s other three children – Cristiano Jr., and twins Eva and Mateo.
Tragedy struck in April 2022 when they lost Bella’s twin brother, Ángel, shortly after birth.
Ronaldo and Georgina made their first official public appearance at the Best FIFA Football Awards in Zurich in January 2017 and have been inseparable ever since.
Reports indicate that the Al Nassr captain, who earns over £200 million annually, has a financial arrangement to support Georgina with $100,000 per month for life, even in the event of a separation.
Now, with the engagement confirmed, fans around the world are eagerly awaiting the wedding of one of football’s most glamorous couples.
