Theresa May maintains lead in contest to be PM

UK Home secretary Theresa May has led the last round of voting by members of of parliament Thursday in a leadership challenge which many believe is best placed to win and become the next British Prime Minister.

In Thursday’s voting, Michael Gove, perhaps the most visible pro-Brexit contender in the race was eliminated, leaving the coast clear for both May and Andrea Ledasom to battle it out in a voting by the over 200,000 members of the conservative party in the next two months.
