Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has confirmed his attendance at the 2019 edition of the BusinessDay Agribusiness and Food Security Summit where he will be the Special Guest of Honour.

The annual summits have so far been unarguably among the biggest and most diverse agriculture sector-focused events in Nigeria, bringing together, virtually every notable stakeholder in the agriculture value chain.
It has consistently drawn progressive farmers, resellers, distributors, importers, government officials, academics, seed companies, agricultural machinery vendors, fertiliser producers, agrichemical makers, packaging companies, and many more.
Last year’s summit, which held under the theme ‘Evolving Actionable Models to make Agribusiness more viable’ had an impressive turnout matched by impactful discussions.

The Special Guest of Honour Godwin Obaseki has demonstrated a firm commitment towards improving the state of agriculture in the state, and by extension Nigeria.
