All roads led to The Moneda House, Lekki Phase 1 yesterday for the Official Launch and Media Briefing of The Mentor Matchup Challenge 3.0.
The event started with a media briefing in which the Managing Partner of 234Finance and Founder of The Mentor Matchup Challenge, Mrs. Ezinne Nwazulu spoke about the initiative. She explained that the event line-up includes a panel discussion, multiple networking opportunities, mentoring sessions and a pitching session. Some of the confirmed speakers lined up for this year’s event include Obi Ozor, Cofounder of Kobo 360, Akintunde Marinho, CEO of Utopia Media Group, Mr. Chima Anyaso, Chairman of Caades Group, Tania Omotayo, Founder of Ziva Lagos amongst others.
Strategic Partners of The Mentor Matchup Challenge include Moneda Invest, Native Talk, Anthony Rhodes, Sosha Life and Arcadia Media. The founders of these companies spoke about why they have partnered with 234Finance. One of the winners of The Mentor Matchup Challenge 2.0, Ejiro Jakpa also spoke about how winning the seed funding has improved her business in the past year.

The Mentor Matchup Challenge 3.0 is open to entrepreneurs in Agriculture, Ecommerce & Retail, Food & Hospitality, Financial Services, Logistics and Manufacturing.
Applicants are required to share a one-minute video pitch on Instagram, follow @mentormatchupchallenge and @234finance and use the hashtag #MentorMatchupChallenge. The pitch video should introduce the business and state what they would do with $20,000 seed funding. The selection criteria for participants include Creativity and Innovation, Market Potential, Traction, Social Impact and Personal Investment.
