Nigeria’s car freaks welcome new BMW X5

Seven years after the entry of the second generation BMW X5, Coscharis Motors, owners of the dealership right in Nigeria, is once again raising the stake following the unveiling of the new version of the Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) in Lagos. With this new development, the distributors has moved up a notch or more on the value-added scale.

This piece of sheet metal with all the trappings of sophistication and pose from the Munich-based BMW headquarters in Germany was so unique that some worshippers had to cut their Sunday worship to be at the BMW showroom in Adeola Odeku, Victoria Island; to be part of the brand’s success story.

As a prelude to the real unveiling, Josiah Samuel, group managing director of Coscharis Motors standing in for Cosmas Maduka, president and chairman of the company was clear when he said that Coscharis shall continue the story of joy and the story of Coscharis Group.

He noted that by introducing the all-new BMW X5 this year after the second generation came in 2007, Coscharis Motors is not only celebrating a successful past as a company, but more importantly, are looking into the future. A future that starts now with the launch of the All-New BMW X5 being part of the dealer’s drive to incessantly re-invent the company and our BMW brands’ portfolio.

The group managing director reminded the audience that while the showroom embodies the evolutionary spirit of the company throughout these past years; the all-new BMW X5 bylined “A Work of Progress” projects the degree of tireless efforts and passion that went into its design.
