The Nigerian striker has now scored 11 goals and provided four assists in 18 league appearances for the Yellow and Reds this season.

The goal also extended Osimhen’s goal contribution streak to eight consecutive league matches, a run that includes eight goals and four assists, matching the longest such sequence of his professional career, previously achieved during his prolific spell with SSC Napoli between January and February 2023.

The 27-year-old played the entire match for Galatasaray, while Ndidi also featured for Beşiktaş, marking his 19th league appearance of the season for the Black Eagles.

The win moves Galatasaray to 61 points from 25 matches, seven clear of second-placed Fenerbahçe, who have a game in hand.
