Mbappe, who announced in May that he would leave PSG at the end of his contract, which expires in June, is set to join the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League winners as a free agent. The French star departs PSG as the club’s all-time leading goalscorer.

The La Liga giants are expected to announce the deal next week and plan to officially present Mbappe at the Bernabeu after Euro 2024.

The 2018 World Cup winner leaves PSG with 256 goals, having joined them from Monaco on an initial loan in 2017.

Mbappe will have the opportunity to play alongside Real Madrid’s star-studded team which includes; Luka Modric, Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham, Rodrigo and others.

Mbappe recently hinted that his next club would be revealed soon, and he is now set to join a star-studded Real Madrid squad under Carlo Ancelotti, which already includes Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham.

Following Real Madrid’s Champions League victory on Saturday, Bellingham expressed his excitement about Mbappe’s signing, telling TNT Sports: “If that was to happen, it would be amazing.

A player like him is the only little thing that maybe we’re missing in terms of that clinical nine. If he was to come and give us that, we’d be in a great place and he would take us to another level.”
