Serie A giant Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, with Italian media claiming the club has already decided to part ways with Dusan Vlahovic.
Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, was the subject of a €65 million bid from the Turkish club earlier this week, but the offer was rejected. Galatasaray have since turned their attention to signing Álvaro Morata from AC Milan as they brace for Osimhen’s likely summer departure.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli—who originally signed Osimhen for Napoli—remains keen on bringing the 26-year-old to Turin. However, the move hinges on Vlahovic’s exit, as the Serbian striker’s sale would help finance the deal.
Osimhen has a €75 million release clause, but it is only applicable to non-Italian clubs, meaning Juventus would need to negotiate directly with Napoli. Given the history between the two clubs—most notably Juventus’ controversial signing of Gonzalo Higuaín in 2016—securing Osimhen could be a complicated affair.
Despite continued links to Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United, Juventus appear determined to make Osimhen their marquee signing, with Giuntoli reportedly “obsessed” with landing the Nigerian star.
