Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek has ruled out any possibility of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen leaving the club this summer despite growing interest from several European giants.
Osimhen has been reportedly linked with a move away from Galatasaray following another outstanding season that saw the Istanbul giants successfully defend their Turkish Süper Lig title.
Top European clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, have all reportedly shown interest in securing the Nigerian forward’s signature.

Osimhen completed a permanent move to Galatasaray in the summer of 2025 and has helped the Turkish champions secure a domestic double.
The Super Eagles striker has continued his remarkable form this season, playing a crucial role in Galatasaray’s title-winning campaign and their run to the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League.
The Nigerian international has registered 22 goals and eight assists in 33 appearances, making him one of Europe’s most prolific strikers.
Despite intense transfer speculation, Özbek insisted Galatasaray have no plans to part ways with the 27-year-old striker.
“We initially signed Victor Osimhen on loan, and he performed magnificently,” Özbek said, as quoted by Fanatik.
“He loves Galatasaray and Turkey very much. He said he would stay at Galatasaray, and we started talking with Napoli.”
The Galatasaray president also dismissed discussions surrounding Osimhen’s market value, despite reports placing the Nigerian at around €150 million.
“We are not considering selling Victor Osimhen. Putting a price on a player we do not intend to sell is like dressing a footballer before he is even born,” Özbek said during a live appearance on HT Spor, as quoted by Sabah.
Özbek further praised Osimhen’s growing influence at the club, describing the striker as a key figure inspiring Galatasaray supporters with his performances and leadership.
