A brace by captain Rasheedat Ajibade and one each by Uchenna Kanu and Asisat Oshoala saw the Super Falcons defeat to advance to the third qualifying round for 2024 Olympic qualifiers, set to take place in Paris.

The nine-time African champions will next meet the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in the race.

Cameroon secured a 3-0 victory over Uganda after a previous 2-0 defeat to the Crested Cranes at the FUFA Technical Centre.

The Cameroonian women will clash with the Super Falcons in the next round of the 2024 Olympic qualifiers.

Magudu, who represented Coach Waldrum in both legs against Ethiopia, confidently notes that the Falcons are not afraid to play any opponent.

“Whoever comes our way, we will be ready for them. To qualify for the Olympics, you must compete against the best teams and be well-prepared,” Magudu stated.
