In March 2019, Mr. Philippe Goron was appointed as the new Executive Managing Director of Ringardas Nigeria Limited, also known as (ASCA). Ringardas Nigeria Ltd is the pioneer company in Bitumen distribution in Nigeria and had setup two strategic connected terminals in Sapele and Port Harcourt and three inland terminals in Kano, Enugu and Gwagwalada. Before this appointment, Mr. Goron was the Managing Director of Rubis Channel Islands Operations. Rubis Channel Islands is a company with over 60 years of leading reputation in energy, oil and heating services in the Channel Islands. Mr Goron has close to four decades (40 years) of international business experience in different line of businesses most especially in oil companies and construction industry. He has working background with multinational oil companies like Elf oil Nigeria Limited and Total across various destinations in Africa, Europe and Asia. He has excellent working records in management, including knowledge of procedures for providing superior customer services in addition to productive and comfortable work environment for employees. Furthermore, he is well known for his enthusiasm to work within the parameters of efficient planning and coordination of activities for high level management for the satisfaction of shareholders, clients and employees.
Upon his resumption of duty as the new Managing Director of the company, he pin-pointed that his major focus is to increase steeply on the progressive achievements of the company recorded in the last few years. Mr. Goron pledges non-discriminatory treatment of customers and the general public in terms of business interactions and provision of essential services by the company within the ambient of the law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He, also emphasis that he will work hard with his management team and employees alike to identify the challenges facing the company and use critical thinking skills to implement plans for overcoming them for the benefits of the company. Mr. Goron has the mandate from Rubis Group to develop and diversify on business activities within Nigeria. He as well made it clear that the company will gyrate its operations around the standard of business ethics in line with the agenda of the administration of President Mohammadu Buhari.
