Akeredolu’s demise: The price for activism

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has debunked the rumours that he was set to return to Germany for another medical vacation.

Akeredolu, however, described the report as wicked and misleading.

The governor, in a statement by Richard Olatunde, his chief press secretary, said: “The report is concocted and planted by politicians who are still nursing the pains of defeated expectations. “The story making the rounds is baseless, unfounded and only a figment of the imagination of evil-minded politicians. For us, we are committed to addressing the genuine concerns of the people of the state. This is why development is prioritised under the Akeredolu administration.
