Following the recommendation of President Muhammadu Buhari, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has been dissolved.
The party is to immediately set up a caretaker committee to pilot its affair for the time being. Yobe Governor, Mai-Mala Buni, was named Chairman caretaker and extra-ordinary convention committee
“Today’s NEC Meeting is a Continuation of the last adjourned NEC Meeting. So we are in no way in any aberration regarding the party Constitution,” said Buni the new APC Caretaker Chairman.
