Nuel Ola Elehinle, a former Commissioner at the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC), has declared that he is running to represent Owo/Ose Federal Constituency at the National Assembly in the forthcoming general elections in order to provide fair, fearless and quality representation.

Elehinle, who spoke with journalists after he had obtained the APC nomination form said his legislative agenda would prioritise the needs and aspirations of the people of the Owo/Ose constituency and the state at large if elected.

According to him, people of his constituency who were calling him to contest had expressed confidence in his competence, integrity and capacity to deliver effective representation.

“I am ready to serve my good people of Owo/Ose Federal Constituency and I urge you all to hold firmly to the confession of our hope for visible and tangible representation in Abuja without wavering.

“I shall be a strong voice for Owo/Ose Federal Constituency, its government and its people, and I will do so with humility and a high sense of duty and responsibility.”

BusinessDay reports that Elehinle, an APC chieftain from Ipele Ward 7, Owo LGA, worked with Atlas Copco and Epiroc Rock Drills AB, Sweden. He served on the Ondo State APC Campaign Council in 2024.

He is a Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti graduate of Mineral Resources and Mining Engineering and he also holds an MSc from the University of Liverpool and Executive programme certificates from University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School and Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations.
