Womenovate unveils plans to upskill women amid climate change

Womenovate had announced plans to empower members to building resilience in the educational landscape. Motunrayo Opayinka, the chief executive officer of Womenovate made this known recently when she said the organisation has concluded plans to host its 2024 Education Day Conference with focus on educational resilience in the face of climate change.

According to Opayinka, the 2024 Education Day Conference will hold on Monday, January 29, 2024 inside Abuja Continental Hotel from 9:00 am to 4:00pm.

The theme of the conference is, “Educational Resilience In The Face of Climate Change”, and underscores the organisation’s commitment to addressing the challenges posed by climate change and leveraging digital skills to enhance educational service delivery and outcomes.

The 2024 conference among other things will expose participant to practical workshops that will equip them with essential digital skills, empowering them to adapt and thrive in the ever-evolving educational landscape.

Besides, there will be engaging panel discussions meant to explore the impact of climate change on education and ways in which digital skills can be harnessed to improve service delivery and educational outcomes.

Womenovate also have in place a platform for innovators and educators to showcase digital solutions that enhance educational resilience and mitigate the impact of climate change on learning environments.

Opayinka also explained that the conference will provide a unique networking space for professionals, educators, and advocates to connect, collaborate, and share strategies for building educational resilience.
