UNILAG begins sales of 2023/2024 postgraduate forms May 12

The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka School of Post Graduate Studies (SPGS) has announced that the sales of forms for the institution’s 2023/2024 academic year will commence on Friday, May 12, 2023.

The university hence invites applications from suitably qualified candidates from recognised institutions for admission into postgraduate programmes of the University in the new session.

According to a statement signed by Oladejo Azeez, registrar and secretary to the council, “Entrance/qualifying examinations are scheduled for the week of August 28 to September 2, 2023.”

The programme is for Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Programmes.

Masters Degree Programmes (i.e. LL.M, M.A., M.Ed., M.Sc., etc.).

Professional Masters Degree Programmes (that is, EMBA, LLS, MAG, MARPM, MBA, MBF, MCM, MCrim, MDF, MDM, MDR, MDSS, MEM, MESM, MFM, MGIS, MHDM, MILD, MILR, MLA, MMAM, MMP, MPA, MPE, MPH, MPIA, MPM, MRM, MRPP, MSEM, MSIS, MTL, MTPM, MTTFL, MUD, MULTP, etc.).

Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programmes.

The management disclosed that the price of the UNILAG postgraduate form is N30,000 which is non-refundable.

For more than a decade, the admission form had always been sold for N22,500 until last year when the school decided to increase it.

However, candidates are advised to read the requirements for their desired programmes carefully to confirm eligibility.

Candidates awaiting Bachelor’s degree results or are currently undergoing postgraduate programmes or Nigerian citizens who have not completed the National Youth Service Corps assignments are not eligible.

Holders of Degrees obtained from outreach/satellite campuses are not eligible.

Every applicant is required to upload every credential listed on the application form for admission such as Degree Certificates (Not Statement of Results); NYSC Certificate, and Professional Certificates

Besides, candidates must ensure that their academic transcripts reach the secretary of the School of Postgraduate Studies on or before the beginning of the registration/screening exercise by postage or email to [email protected].
