President Bola Tinubu is currently leading delegation of the federal government to meet with members of the organised Labour over the proposed strike in protest of the petrol subsidy removal.
BusinessDay gathered from a sources close to the meeting at the Presidential Villa, that the President who is currently engaging with leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC), is also scheduled to meet with some lawmakers-elect, later this evening.

The Nigeria Labour congress had earlier issued a notice of nationwide strike from Wednesday June 7, over the fuel price hike resulting from the removal of fuel subsidy by the federal government.
