100 million records worldwide.

One of the best-selling recording artists of all time.

Recepient of 12 Grammy Awards.

First black artist and first woman to be on the cover of Rolling Stone.

Ranked among the ‘100 Greatest Artists of All Time’ and the ‘100 Greatest Singers of All Time.’

Had a star on the ‘Hollywood Walk of Fame’ and the ‘St. Louis Walk of Fame.’

Through the emotional and physical abuse you endured, going from stroke to intestinal cancer, to high blood pressure, to damaged kidneys and later kidney failure, to kidney transplant, you went through all, and on May 24, 2023, you bid the world farewell at your home in Kusnacht, Switzerland at the fulfilled age of 83.

Death comes when it comes, and when it comes, it leaves a sting that hurts deep. Pain so excrutiating we consistently ask why?

On this stage called life, you came, lived and left. Left us with memories of you that will be in our hearts forever.

Your music, your lyrics, it told us how you felt, and we could journey with you through those songs because you painted the picture so clearly that our hearts could feel it, our souls could reach it and our minds could connect to it.

It’s how you take the stage over, living the moment through the vibes the songs gave you. You were passionate and intense on duty, singing from deep within with your rich and powerful vocals.

Your legs…my oh my!…long, smooth and striking. In heels they moved like they did not care, following your direction, taking the stage. It was Tina’s legs…and others followed.

Now you are gone, but your works will always remind us of you.

Rest on great woman.

What a legacy, what a life!

Good night Queen….
