Determined to serve the continent better, the International Network for Corporate Social Responsibility (IN-CSR) has announced the opening of its Southern and Eastern Africa offices in Zimbabwe and in Kenya.
It has also appointed Israel Chokuwenga and Janet Olonde to head the offices, respectively.
Speaking on the new offices, Eustace Onuegbu, IN-CSR president and lead consultant, confirmed that the Southern Africa office will be headed by Chokuwenga, who, until recently, served as the Group Head, Health, Safety, Social and Environment (HSSE), specifically focusing on Social Performance at Dangote Group Plc, while the Eastern Africa office will be headed by Olonde, who is an accomplished sales and marketing consultant specialising in corporate training and certifications.
Onuegbu also disclosed that the Southern Africa office is located at 2458 California Road, Charlotte Broke, Borrowdale, Harare, Zimbabwe, while the Eastern Africa office is located at Medallion Alliance Conferences, Ngong Road, Nairobi, Kenya.
IN-CSR is an international team of Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility (CS&R) consultants and Corporate Human Rights advocates working to promote best practices in sub-Saharan Africa.
He also added that over the years, the organisation has emerged as an industry expert in sustainability strategies – globally recognised certifications, due diligence studies, implementation and auditing – using both national and international platforms on corporate sustainability and responsibility, environmental management, occupational health and safety, risk management, quality assurance, and business continuity, among others.
According to Onuegbu, with the opening of the new offices, the organisation is better placed to serve clients in sub-Saharan Africa and can now consider requests to serve some Asian markets.
