Abdulrasheed-Bawa

Abdurasheed Bawa, the former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has been released from detention.

Bawa’s release comes after he was arrested by the Department of State Service (DSS) on June 14, 2023, shortly following his suspension from the position of EFCC Chairman by President Bola Tinubu over allegations of abuse of office.
