President Muhamadu Buhari will this evening address Nigeria on the ongoing security crisis arising from the shooting of protesters in Lekki, Lagos, on Tuesday night, according to the Presidency Nigeria Twitter handle.

“Following detailed briefing by security chiefs on the current situation in the country, President @MBuhari will make a national broadcast Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 7pm,” the presidency said on its Twitter handle.
It urged television, radio, and other electronic media outlets to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria respectively for the broadcast.
