902 to receive appointment letters in Oyo as govt increases workforce

No fewer than 902 graduates recently recruited into the Oyo State Civil Service by the State Government will start receiving appointment letters on Friday, 24th January, 2025.

Governor Seyi Makinde approved the employment of 902 graduates which included University graduates, and Higher National Diploma holders meant to work in the State Civil Service.

Kamoru Aderibigbe, Chairman, Civil Service Commission, in a press statement signed on Wednesday, said the collection would run from Friday, 24th January, 2025 to Tuesday, 28th January, 2025.

He said successful applicants are expected to collect their letters of appointment at designated offices in the Civil Service Commission between 10.00 am and 2.00 pm each day, except Friday, when they are expected to appear between 9.00 am and 1.00 pm.

While congratulating the successful candidates, Aderibigbe urged the newly employed to be orderly when collecting their letters of offer of appointment.

He however warned that on no account woukd the Commission allow collection of letters of appointment by proxy, saying that the Commissioners would be on ground to monitor the exercise.
