Cecilia Faga, the mother of Kwaghaondo Aondona Kingsley, one of the 20 medical students kidnapped along the Otukpo-Enugu road, is in a state of utter shock and despair.
In a heart-wrenching telephone chat with BusinessDay, Faga poured out her emotions, struggling to come to terms with the ordeal her son and 19 other students are facing in the hands of kidnappers.
The distraught mother revealed that paying school fees and feeding her family is already a significant challenge, making the demand for a N50 million ransom is impossible to meet.

Faga’s plea to the government is simple: “Bring back my son and the 19 other medical students who were kidnapped.” Her voice cracked with emotion as she begged for the safe release of her child.
