APC City Boy Movement inaugurates 20 ICT Marshal’s in Bauchi

The City Boy Movement of the All Progressives Congress in Bauchi State has inaugurated 20 ICT Marshal’s in support of the reelection of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to come in 2027.

The acting director of the City Boy Movement in Bauchi State, L B Halan also flagged off the statewide digital membership registration exercise.

Halan also distributed mobile phones to the ICT Marshals from all the 20 local government areas that formed the state to enable them begin the registration of members ahead of the 2027 general election.

He charged the ICT Marshals to remain committed and ensure a smooth and effective registration process as the movement continues to strengthen its grassroots structure in the state.

“This marked the first official City Boy Movement activity in the entire state. We took time to share the vision of the movement, outline our mission, and discuss the task ahead as we mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections,” he said.

According to the acting state director of the City Boy Movement, “Today is more than an inauguration. It is the beginning of a movement of young people who are ready to serve, lead, and make a positive difference in our communities. For those who know me, you know that my passion has always been the youths. I strongly believe that the greatest asset of Bauchi State is its young people. That is why I have dedicated myself to creating opportunities, mentoring young people, and giving them a platform to succeed.

“I see myself as an ambassador and a voice for the youths of Bauchi State. Every opportunity I get is an opportunity to speak for young people who deserve to be seen, heard, and empowered. I am also privileged to have the confidence and mandate of Barrister Seyi Tinubu to spread the vision of the City Boy Movement across Bauchi State. I am committed to taking this vision to every Local Government and every community because this movement is about service, unity, and youth empowerment.

“Today is not about titles, it is about responsibility. Be disciplined, be humble, and let your character reflect the values of the City Boy Movement wherever you go. To every young person here, don’t wait for change, be part of it. Get involved, believe in yourself, and prepare for the future you want.

“I want to assure the youths of Bauchi State that this movement is for you. We will continue to work, speak, and create opportunities because we believe in your potential. Together, we will build a stronger, more united, and more prosperous Bauchi State.”

Halan urged the 20 inaugurated ICT Marshals to take the movement to every nook and cranny of Bauchi State by driving membership registration and building a strong grassroots structure across all local government areas.
