Women in Business: Folake Adeniyi-Adeleye

Folake Adeniyi-Adeleye, is the founder of Coachivate. In addition to being a Certified Executive coach, Life coach and NLP Practitioner, she is an International HR Leader with a 20-year career spanning industries such as management consulting and strategic advisory, oil & gas, telecommunications, and information technology.

She has spent the better part of her career helping executives and CEOs succeed. She has coached many high performing professionals, start-ups and thriving entrepreneurs, aspiring executives and top executives in Africa, Europe, USA, and the Middle East.

Folake understands business at a senior level and the cultural and political nuances of today’s workplace. She knows first-hand, the skills and abilities required to succeed at various levels in an organisation, and her goal is to help you become an exceptional professional.

Even though she knows what success looks and feels like, including what it is like to succeed in a highly disruptive and fast-paced working environment, she also realizes that it’s not always rosy, “At least, it hasn’t always been, for me. I know what it is like to fail and fall flat on your face.” She says.

Folake admits that life throws all sorts of stuff at you, especially when you least expect. She therefore submits that, if you don’t have the right values that help you self-adjust and manage the transitions, winning may be unachievable.

It is the reason she founded Coachivate, a capacity development platform dedicated to helping professional and business leaders get unstuck, move forward, stay relevant and achieve meaningful success.

The main focus of Coachivate is to discover anything that limits progress and transform it into a success catalyst, for you, your team, your organisation and its leaders.

“From the start of my career, I have engaged and encountered executives and business leaders, from partnering with business owners to team leaders, senior executives and vice presidents of multinationals.

I have always been in a position to help them succeed and I learned a lot in the process – knowledge which I now use to provide transformative coaching solutions.” She reveals.

Her commitment as a certified coach is to take you on a journey to raise your level of self-awareness, guide you to reposition yourself and make the necessary adjustments until the best you emerge.

According to her, “I’m your strategic thinking partner that gets you from point A to B especially in the midst of transition or disruption”.

Folake is unapologetic about her passion for the education, empowerment and elevation of women. She is a member of the Executive Council of WIMBIZ (Women in Management, Business and Public Service), and other professional associations.
