The TEDx experience is now in Apapa

The TEDx experience is now in Apapa — and we are excited about it.
TEDxApapa offers a boarder platform for debating ingenious and indigenous awe-inspiring solutions advancing the way we live, work, and do business in Africa. Apapa can very well be described as the commercial/trading nerve center of Nigeria, playing host to the largest maritime and marine transport hub in Nigeria — and indeed West and Central Africa. As part of a deliberate effort to engage the Apapa Community, TEDxApapa is set to host its first virtual TEDxApapa Salon series between September and December 2020. TEDxApapa Salon series presents an opportunity for engaging Apapa and the wider African community on focused and specialized areas, touching on every possible aspect of our lives, evolving technology, finance, and governance.

The Organizer, TEDxApapa, Eze Chukwuka, explained that the Virtual TEDxApapa Salon series themed Solutions, will essentially be a window through which the world can objectively view some of Africa’s boldest ideas and people.

The Organizer further explained that the September Salon event which is scheduled for Saturday 5th September 2020 at 3:00 PM WAT, would be a Maritime sector-focused event, and would have Tonye Membere-Otaji, the Founder and CEO, MVXchange share insights on how MVXChange is using technology to empower the African market to fully utilize the potentials of the Blue Economy, while aggressively facilitating trade across the African continent – and other trading partners around the globe. This September Salon event would be moderated by Temitope Ogunmokun, a versatile Broadcast Journalist dedicated to creating a more connected and sustainable society.
