Tetra Pak West Africa appoints Haithem Debbiche as new MD

Tetra Pak, a multinational food processing and packaging company, has announced the appointment of Haithem Debbiche as the new managing director for West Africa.

Debbiche will succeed Aruna Oshiokamele, who held this position since 2018, according to a statement.

“I feel honoured by this appointment. West Africa is a dynamic region with great potential, and I am committed to leveraging my expertise to best support our customers in their growth and innovation strategies,” Debbiche said.

He added that he is confident in improving the company’s position as the partner of choice for our valued customers by delivering solutions that align with customers’ needs.

Debbiche is a graduate of Sorbonne University in Paris, Haithem and he joined Tetra Pak in 2003, where he held various positions within the organisation.

“West Africa is a strategic priority for Tetra Pak, demonstrated by over thirty-five years of local presence in the region but Debbiche would be based in Lagos, Nigeria, further reinforcing Tetra Pak’s strong commitment to its customers in the region,” the statement said.

It added that Tetra Pak is an end-to-end solutions provider that delivers ideas tailored to the evolving needs of the fast-moving market while sustaining the company’s identity.
