Skysat Technologies launches Konica Minolta in Nigeria

Skysat Technologies Nigerian Limited has launched the Bizhub Press C1100/C1085 brand of Konica Minolta, a top range production printer, to the Nigerian business community as part of its efforts at boosting digital printing technology in across Nigeria.

The launch, held recently at Cedi Plaza in Abuja, was one of the many events and series of exhibitions organised by Skysat Technologies in conjunction with Konica Minolta to promote digital print solutions in Nigeria.

The company, which is a preferred partner and distributor of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe in Nigeria and Ghana, is introducing the top of its range production printer because of its features, which include: excellent color reproduction, low cost per print, high productivity, higher resolution (1200 by 1200 dpi), better paper handling (55gms to 350gms), wider range of size (A3+), better duplex/registration, a newly developed suction feeder, among others.

Demonstrating the usage of the printer to customers and the public at the launch, L.P Kosalraman, technical manager of the company, noted that Bizhub Press C1100/C1085 is a one-stop-shop production printer, the first of its kind in Nigeria and also the most efficient tool for enhancing businesses and services of customers.

“With 100 pages in one minute, 5000 pages in one hour, 13,000 paper capacity, the production machine is offering lowest per copy in digital printing and also introducing a new revolution in printing,” Kosalraman said.

Speaking earlier in his address at the launch, Izzat Debs, managing director, Skysat Technologies Nigerian Limited, noted that his company had printers in mind and over three years ago, had executed business plans that resulted in the establishment of a high number of digital print shops across Nigeria, and that this had immensely contributed to the creation of employment of young people impacting positively on the socio-economic development of the country.

The company has outlets and service centres in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Kano, where German-trained engineers provide expertise, training and technical support to their customers, the managing director also noted.

“We have been able to contribute to the success of the various print shops by allowing them to reduce significantly the cost of their printing production and provide the market with high quality office documents, letter heads, security documents, examination papers, newsletters, magazines and brochures at highly competitive prices,” the managing director said.
