Thirty seven ships laden with containers, foods, petroleum products and other goods would arrive Lagos ports from Jan. 21 to Feb. 7.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said this in its daily publication – `Shipping Position’ – made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Lagos.
The document stated that 17 of the expected ships would arrive with containers of different goods.
It explained that two other ships were expected to arrive with petroleum products like petrol and kerosene.

The document noted that three ships containing bulk rice and five ships carrying general cargo were also being expected.
It stated that the remaining 10 ships would arrive with buckwheat, gypsum, soya bean, bulk ethanol, fresh fish and crude palm oil.
The document indicated that six other ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk rice, ethanol and gypsum.
It stated that eight other ships containing various petroleum products were also waiting to berth at the various oil terminals in the ports.
The document explained that four of the eight ships were waiting to berth with petrol, while the remaining four would berth with diesel, aviation fuel, bulk gas and crude palm oil.
It noted that 23 other ships were discharging buckwheat, base oil, general cargo, fresh fish, bulk rice, containers, bulk salt, raw sugar, bulk fertiliser and petroleum products.
