SOCIETY OF THE SNOW (2023)

This was an absolute fantastic movie, the movie kept me glued till the very end, although I have seen several movies about planes crashing, I have never seen anyone as detailed as this particular movie, the voice over and the story was breath taking, emotional and heart breaking, the words by the survivors left me wondering about life. One question that kept popping up.in my head from start to finish “was what length will you go to survive, what will you do to survive,” the honest truth is that you have no clue till you are faced with death heads on. I saw men deliberate whether to eat or not eat their fellow men, like they were animals. I saw men stay motivated and determined to make it to the very end even after staying without food and water for 72 days. The Ruby team had boarded a flight, with some friends and a few other family members to travel for a few days, what started out as fun, sweet and interesting turned out to be a disaster and their worst nightmare ever, when they crashed into the mountain filled with snow just 10mins to landing. I actually thought that if they were 10 minutes away, they were actually really close to human and life, but I was so wrong, they were very far from civilization. To stay alive they had to do whatever it took to stay alive. I had no clue what I was up against in this simple drama movie, well you have to go and check this movie out to see for yourself the drastic movies they had to take to stay alive. The movie kind of reminded me of “Nowhere” of 2023. The 2hrs 24m Spanish Adventure/ Thriller movie was directed by J. A Bayona, they featured actors like Enzo Vogrincic, Matias Recalt, Carlos Paez Rodriguez, Agustin Pardella, Felipe Gonzalez Otano, Paula Baldini, Esteban Kukuriczka and many more.

NO HARD FEELINGS (2023)

Moving away from Christmas movies as the season comes to an end, this new movie was one of the top 10 movies, so I decided to check it out. This was a very simple Romance and Comedy movie. Percy was the only son of his wealthy parents, who were getting really worried about his constant staying away from people and friends. He was always indoor and at the age of 18 and about to go into the university, he still had no girlfriend, this left his parents extremely worried, to help their son solve this problem, they decided to go out to help arrange a young lady who will help them their son out of his shell. The young lady went all out till he agreed to go on a date with her.

Well, you will have to go check out the movie, to see if she made a headway in bringing him out of his shell or made it worse. The 103m Comedy/Romance was directed by Gene Stupnitsky, they featured actors like Jennifer Lawrence, Andrew Barth Feldom, Mathews Broderick, Laura Benonti, Natalie Morales.

SET IT UP (2018)

This was a simple, nice romantic and comedy movie, seen it for a while but just didn’t find the time, well I was happy that I finally got to watch it. Becca and Harper worked as personal advisors to their bosses. Becca worked with Kristen, while Harper worked with Richard. Richard was divorced and single, Kristen was also a very successful lady, also single and avoided attending family functions for fear of being harassed.

In order to rest and find some peace, Becca and Harper teamed up to match make their bosses by making them get stuck in the elevator, what started as a joke quickly spiraled into a fully-fledged relationship in a very short time. Well, you should check out this movie to see how they all found love.

The 105m Romance/Comedy movie was directed by Claire Scanlon, they featured actors like Glen Powell, Zoey Deutch, Lucy Liu, Taye Diggs, Pete Davidson, Meredith Hagner, Jon Rudnitsky and many more.
