Usman Dunama, director, Green House in Jigawa, has said that the Federal Ministry of Agriculture will distribute 250 pumps to dry season farmers to boost rice production.
Dunama made the disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse.

He explained that the gesture was aimed at achieving the agricultural transformation agenda (ATA) of President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
The director said that farmers would be provided with improved seeds and fertilisers under the scheme to realise the objectives.
