The Abuja Enterprise Agency in a determined move  to support the diversification agenda of the Federal Government, said it had set up shea butter plants  to process the product and grow revenue base for the  non-oil sector, while also empowering farmers.

 The  Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Arabi Muhammed Tukur, represented by the Principal  Manager, Chudi Ezirigwe, said the plants would support the processing of the product towards meeting the requirements for export.

 He added, “We have special programs that capture different activities of people such as women and the youth.”

He further said,”We have set up a shea butter processing plant which we are working on expanding with a view to producing grade A shea butter for export. We also have the cassava processing centre in Kwali area council.”

He said that the agency has a lot of programs aimed at reducing the level of unemployment in the country.
