TBS Consulting holds seminar on hotel, tourism business in Nigeria

Total Business Solution (TBS), in conjunction with Our Heritage International, has concluded arrangements to hold a two-day seminar on hotel and tourism industry in Lagos.

The two-day seminar, which holds at the Renaissance Hotel, Awolowo Road, Ikeja, will take place on May 23 and 24 between the hours of 9a.m and 3p.m and will attarct agencies of government on the hospitality and tourism sector, policy makers, banking institutions, investors, corporate and private institutions including the media.

The seminar already endorsed by the Lagos State government and the Federal Ministry of Tourism, according to the organisers, will open up more investment opportunities to various stakeholders in the hospitality industry.

The seminar entitled, ‘Profitability in Hospitality Business’, according to the promoters, is in line with the Vision 2020 of the Federal Government whose aim is to ensure that apart from awareness creation among stakeholders about the profitable hospitality business which other economies essentially rely for survival, that investors in the sector should be encouraged to channel more of their resources in the sector to ensure better growth of the system.

According to the managing director, TBS Consulting, Leke Olufade, “Our target is to complement the efforts of the states and Federal Government and by extension become a voice in the promotion of growth, investment and development in the hospitality cum tourism sector which is currently witnessing serious transformation”.
