South Africa relaxes visa rules

Trade between Nigeria and South Africa is expected to receive boost as the South African embassy said yesterday that it has relaxed visa rules and application requirements for those intending to do business in the country. It has now begun to issue three-year multiple entry visas as against the usual six months.

Louis Mnguni, South African high commissioner, who disclosed this at the launch of South African Airways Cargo in Lagos, said both countries decided to improve and increase the level of trade, hence the need to consider the visa issues that may have hampered such developments.
