The management of National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) says it requires the sum of N62.083million to build a perimeter fencing around its 33.234 hectares of land.

It will be recalled that the authorities of University of Benin (UNIBEN) last week told the national good governance tour team led by Labaran Maku, the minister of Information and Orientation, that it required the sum of N800 million for perimeter fencing for its land against encroachment.

Olatunde Aworanti, the registrar and chief executive of NABTEB who disclosed this during the senate committee on education’s tours of Federal Government-owned academic institutions in Edo, said the sum was to prevent encroachment on the school land.

According to him, “May I use this opportunity to intimate the distinguished senators that we are fortunate of recent to have secured for the board headquarters a total of 33.234 hectares of land.
