The Delta House of Assembly says it passed eight bills between January and March 2013, Johnson Erijo, the chairman, Delta House Committee on Information, has said.
Ejiro disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Asaba.
Ejiro said that the bills include the Delta Appropriation Law, 2013; Delta Emergency Management Agency Law and Delta Multi-door Court House Law, 2013.
Others are the Delta Peace and Vigilante Commission Bill, Delta Engineering Project Monitoring and Control Board Law, 2013 and the Delta Local Government Areas Paramedics and Passengers Welfare Scheme Bill, 2013.
Erijo said that the governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, had assented to four of the bills.
According to him, the Delta State Peace and Vigilante Commission Bill and the Delta State Local Government Areas Paramedics and Passengers Welfare Scheme Bill are among those awaiting the governor’s assent.
