Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu has directed commissioners and heads of parastatal agencies in the state to submit their annual performance reports promptly to facilitate planning.

Speaking at a two-day mid-term performance assessment retreat for the members of the state executive council in Enugu on Monday, Chime said such would help the government to identify new challenges and concerns for prompt solutions.

The governor, who was represented by his deputy, Sunday Onyebuchi, said the report should be submitted to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.

He explained that the retreat was to afford them the opportunity to review their successes in line with the existing plans.
