Grammy award-winning artist Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy revealed in the ‘Million Dollaz Worth of Game’ interview that Toni Braxton receives 60 percent of earnings from his hit song ‘Last Last’.
The song which has gained more than 6 million streams on Spotify, sampled the American singer’s R&B song ‘He wasn’t man enough’ and immediately became a household anthem for heartbreaks with the lyrics “e don cast last last, na everybody go chop breakfast”
The singer when asked how he sampled the song said, “I just wanted to use that sample and I knew chopsticks could do something crazy with it, that one of the special creative processes but she(Braxton) is taking 60 percent of the thing.”

When asked for the next genre from Africa that would take off the way Afrobeats did, he said Amapiano has already started to gain traction in some parts of the world apart from the African music space.
Burna Boy also promised to drop new teasers of his forthcoming “Love Damini” album every day until its 8th July release. In a tweet on Monday, he wrote, “Apparently I was born just after midnight, so I’m gonna be dropping teasers every day till release at midnight #LOVEDAMINI.”
Keeping to his promise, he teased Track 5 “Cloak and Dagger” in a follow-up tweet.
