A caucus meeting strictly means a closed-door meeting of a political party to discuss policy. The fact that the APC has turned the idea of a caucus meeting to a public concern is quite perplexing. However, the only reasonable explanation stemming from the defeated look of the president and the vice president and the desperate and reckless words of Oshiomole is that they hope greatly that the people will buy the lies they are obviously selling so shamelessly. It was quite obvious from the scenery of lacklustre, lifeless and nonchalant faces that the party was slowly falling apart inside out.
The supposed caucus meeting held by the All Progressive Congress is nothing short of disgraceful gathering men who do not prioritise the country’s need above theirs. In fact, it was nothing short of a campaign on national tv. The party tried desperately to dispute the credibility of the PDP but it was made quite clear through their incessant words of disparagement and even the tired and defeated expressions by their members that they are filled and overflowing with desperation and their only resolution was to come on live TV to express their distaste long enough to shift the people’s mind in the wrong direction.
The tired expression of the Director General of Buhari’s re-election, Amaechi further demonstrated the exhaustion not only the people of Nigeria feel towards the persistent and ambitious acts of desperation of the APC, but the exhaustion of persons within the same party towards the acts of the party
The cabals gathered and promoted the party’s cause on national tv. This is not far from the same act of desperation that Buhari carried out during his supposed address to the public which in reality was actually a campaign plot. There are different sorts of campaigning but doing such in such an unconventional manner shows the extent the All progressive Congress can go to completely fulfill their agenda
While other parties have moved on to agendas that will uphold democracy in the country and alleviate the problems surrounding it, the APC is still submerged in their ploys and their plans to rig the election which keeps slowly uncovering itself. The reverse psychology used by the APC is quite shameful and the people are completely aware. By publicly showcasing that the PDP is working alongside INEC will obviously give them an edge. Because after they eventually rig, the people will be convinced they were publicly against it. They want it to appear as if they won despite INEC supposed collision with APC. But the people of Nigeria are not blind to the truth.
