Reporters diary: Countdown to Donald Trump’s inauguration

Reporting live from the United States, for the second inauguration of Donald Trump which will be happening today…

I arrived in Phoenix Arizona yesterday in preparation for the inauguration of Donald Trump on January 20 2025. I received a RSVP Invitation from the Trump-Vance Inauguration Committee to attend and cover the historic event. I landed in Washington DC from here in the morning of January 19, 2025.

I took a few hours to speak with a citizen who voted in Arizona. She shared the displeasure of the people of Arizona on Trump’s personality. Nevertheless, the majority of them voted for him because they believe he would preserve the traditional American values handed down to Americans by the American founding fathers.

Everyone here believes that the strengthening of the family is tantamount to strengthening of America.
