Women In Business: Adekemi Adeniyan

Adekemi Adeniyan is a dentist from Nigeria. She is the founder of Dentoville Foundation ( formerly called Dentalcare Foundation) and currently the Executive Director of the organisation.

The foundation is a non-profit humanitarian organisation founded in 2018 with a view to improve and cater for free oral health care for orphans, children and adults in rural areas. Almost all of the adults and children in rural areas in Nigeria have absolutely no dental care and as such, according to the organisation, there is no doubt that there is urgent need for dental care in many of these areas.

Most of these people cannot afford neither have they been enlightened about their oral health care. Their vision therefore at Dentoville is to bring quality oral health care to these completely ignored underdeveloped areas, and to make significant difference in the lives of many people, to see them smile with happiness in their hearts because helping others is where Dentoville finds hope.

With compassion and understanding, they want to strive to deliver the best in a most gentle and loving manner. “We are happy making a difference in the life of someone so they too can pay it forward. This organisation was founded to give a deeper gift in form of good oral health care to those who cannot afford it.” Adekemi said.
