The Boards of Ministries, Departments and Agencies ( MDAs) of Nigeria’s Federal Government recently constituted by President Muhammadu Buhari, are due for inaugurationTuesday, 27th February, 2018.

The appointment of 209 board members for political patronage is seen as the largest under the current administration.

The appointment witnessed the inclusion of names of dead individuals which generated initial controversies provoking delays in the inauguration of the boards.

The Presidency, while defending the errors, attributed them to the time lag between when the names were first submitted to the President and the President’s illness.
A statement by the Media Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, said the Chairmen and Board Members of the Parastatals under the supervision of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) are scheduled to be inaugurated on Tuesday, 27th February, 2018.

The statement signed by Lawrence Ojabo, said the inauguration would take place at the conference room, ground floor of the SGF’s office, at 3 pm.
