Many houses were burnt on Sunday in a fresh attack in Jalingo, Taraba State capital. BusinesDay gathered that the areas affected included Kasuwan Bera and ATC Bridge.
Some traders in Kasuwan Bera who fled the market said they saw hundreds of people, including women and children, also running away from the area.

A traveller, Yusuf Dogara, who narrowly escaped, said he saw many houses burning.
At the time of filing this report it was not ascertain whether any life was lost.
