Nigeria may in April commence the issuance of its first ever green bond that will be used to fund a pipeline of projects targeted at a greener economy.

Outgoing minister of Environment, Amina Mohammed, disclosed this while briefing journalists after the weekly federal executive council meeting on Wednesday in Abuja.

This is as council approved a revised national policy on the policy.
