Appeal court sacks Jimoh Ibrahim, affirms Jegede as PDP candidate

The Court of Appeal siting in Abuja has sacked Jimoh Ibrahim as the candidate of the PDP in governorship election scheduled to hold in Ondo State next Saturday.

The courtordered that Ibrahim be replaced with Eyitayo Jegede, who belongs to the Ahmed Makarfi faction of the party.

The Appeal Court set aside a ruling of the Federal High Court by Justice Okon Abang which declared Ibrahim the candidate.
