Skoda has achieved double-digit growth again in last month with deliveries growing 14.3 percent to 73,200 vehicles compared to last year’s record of 64,000 units. This was the best August in brand’s corporate history.

In Western Europe, the brand grew by 14.5 percent, in China by 19.1 percent and in Central Europe even by 32.4 percent while the European market share rose for the first time to 5.1 percent in August. “Skoda is continuing along the path of growth,” says Werner Eichhorn, board member for sales and marketing.

He said that across all the markets, “the rejuvenated model range is appealing to new consumer groups. The world premiere of the new Fabia at the international motor show in Paris is the next important step in the Skoda’smodel campaign.”

The new Fabia is to be presented to the public for the first time in early October at the Paris Motor Show. The completely redeveloped third generation Fabia sports impressive and emotional designs, innovative technology and the highest functionality. Its market launch is set for November. In summary, the brand did well in most of the regions compared to the same period last year.
