Mitsubishi marks one year of L200 in Nigeria with price review

One year after introducing the L200 pickup truck to the Nigerian market, Mitsubishi Motors has announced a revised pricing package for the model.

Massilia Motors Nigeria, the sole authorised distributor of Mitsubishi Motors in Nigeria and a joint venture of the CFAO Group and the Chanrai Group, said the anniversary pricing starts from N42 million, and applies to all variants of the pickup truck and will be available for a limited period.

The Mitsubishi L200 was introduced into the Nigerian market in 2025 and has since been positioned as a vehicle for both commercial and utility use.

Globally, the model received recognition at the 2024–2025 Japan Car of the Year Awards, where it won the Design Car of the Year category. It was also named Best Mid-size Pickup at the 2024 Arab Car of the Year Awards.

According to Massilia Motors, the vehicle has gained traction among customers operating in sectors that require high load-carrying capacity and durability across varying road conditions.

Olivier Lamoure, managing director of Massilia Motors Nigeria, said the company was introducing the pricing initiative to mark the model’s first anniversary in the Nigerian market and encourage prospective buyers considering the pickup segment.

The company added that ownership support for the vehicle includes access to genuine spare parts, aftersales services and a warranty covering three years or 100,000 kilometres, whichever comes first through its operations in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and other locations across the country.
