Abuja Motor Fair

With a resolve to flaunt the best and the latest as well as demonstrate their poise to play strongly in the dull local automotive market, some auto dealers are strongly getting set to register their presence at the International Conference Centre Annex, Abuja, venue of the 20th edition of this year’s motorfair.

Chairman of the organizing committee of the event, Ifeanyi Agwu, said the fair will be a landmark and a benchmark in auto exhibitions business in the entire West African sub-region. He promised that participants and visitors will have a rewarding experience.

According to him, banks and insurance companies, major oil companies, manufacturers and dealers in auto-accessories have indicated interest and are seriously preparing to participate in the event.

A source from one of companies going to the show in a chat said “a strategic platform as the fair offers very ample space for us to demonstrate to Nigerians and the rest of the world that we are ready to play strong and rightly in Africa’s largest market which offers a vista of opportunities with its abundant potentials.

‘’So my company being a proactive one will be there because it is a forum to meet our target market in their large numbers. We are determined to show to our existing and potential ones that we are ready and capable of meeting their expectations and demands”

Agwu said the organisers at BKG Exhibitions is excited over the growing interest showed by these auto companies; noting that providing a platform for all segments of the sector to showcase their best and latest products and thereby fast-tracking the development of the sector in Nigeria remains the main objective of the exhibition this year.

He further revealed that more companies in the oil lube sector, spare parts and accessories, security and financials have confirmed their participation as according to him “almost all the well-known names are participating too”.

“These companies have resolved to keep faith with their potential and existing customers as they have packaged series of offers ranging from budget cars to good pricing, special fair rebates and promotions, responsive customer care services and lots of supporting benefits for their customers so as to keep on driving the car on their dream. All these they promised to unveil at the showground”. Agwu said, adding that no fewer than 20,000 visitors would grace the event taking into consideration Abuja’s proximity to many parts of Nigeria.

It is going to be a bumper harvest for the numerous visitors to the event; their socio-economic status notwithstanding. They would gain one thing or the other at the fair as almost all the interests of all segments of the society will be catered for at the fair. The event holds from October 28-November 2, 2019 at the International Conference Centre Annex, Garki, Abuja.
