Opay to integrate Interswitch gateway for direct transactions with merchants

In a move to enable users to seamlessly make direct payments for goods and services on merchants’ websites through their wallet balance, Opay – a top fintech business has integrated the Interswitch payment gateway.

According to Interswitch, the collaboration will enable transactions carried out with Opay to go through the Interswitch Payment Gateway (IPG), this will redefine the digital payment experience, providing users with a secure and frictionless payment solution.

“With the integration of Opay into the suite of checkout payment options on the Interswitch Payment Gateway (IPG), this compliments users experience by choosing from the existing arrays of payment methods such as Card, Quickteller, Transfer, QR, and USSD,” it said.
