Konka showcases new series entering the Nigerian mobile market

Chinese Technology firm, Konka has recently launched a new series of smart phones in Nigeria in a bid to deepen competition in the mobile market.

During the launch of its range of phones including the W550, Evangelous Hsieh, Sales Manager, Konka Telecoms of China said that Konka group is launching 5 new product series which are reliable, energy saving, smart, useful and top of the range.

“Konka does not just assemble phones. We have been designing and manufacturing phones since 1999 and the group has been listed in the Shenzhen stock exchange since 1992. We have also been named top 10 most valuable brands in china so you can be sure that our products are of the highest standard and quality,” he said.

Hsieh said that Konka has made the right decision in partnering with Mansales Nigeria Limited as this will enable them expand to other parts of the country and open more after sales service centers in addition to the one already in Lagos.

Also speaking at the launch, Elens Eigbokhan, Chairman of Mansles Nigeria Limited, the primary distributors of Konka Mobile in Nigeria said that his company decided to go into partnership with Konka because he strongly believes that Nigerians were entitled to value for money.

“For many years, we have struggled to get value for the huge amount of money we spend on phones to no avail. I am happy that Konka has come to give us the best in Nigeria with their very affordable yet quality smartphones,” he said.

Talking about the distinct features of Konka phones, Evangelous Hsieh said that the series of phones produced by Konka come with very good camera both in front at the back, with wide angles, rubber rings to seal the side keys, gorilla tempered glass to avoid being easily broken or scratched, Al-Ti alloy frame, dust- proof membrane and other unique features.

Apart from designing and manufacturing high quality Smartphones, Konka group is known for home appliances and real estate with a 35 year brand history.
